    I agree Montreal needs offence now and Tampa can wait for sergachev to mature into a stud defensemen

    Remember the fact that Sergachev can't be selected in the expansion draft so for the lightnings view it is one less player they have to protect

    Yzerman did pretty well for a guy that wanted out just last year.

    Sergachev is one of the best d-men prospects in the entire league. He'll be pretty good in a few years. Problem is we needed a legit top 4 d-man this year.

    But I'll take him over someone like Vatanen or Barrie. Jesus christ fuck that.

    I think the trade is a Win-Win depending on how Drouin does.

    A lot wrong with Barrie. Vatanen is just not the kind of guy we were looking for. We wanted a young cost controlled d-man for a while since Kuch needs a new deal soon. And yes, this time he'll be making 8-10 million.
