Interesting mock draft. I'm hoping Edmonton lands Boqvist or Dobson. If not, draft a RW

My mock draft with some attempts at justifications.

    1. Sabres. Rasmus Dahlin
    Need no motivation.
    2. Hurricanes. Filip Zadina
This is more debatable. The reason I would pick Zadina over Svechnikov if I were the Canes gm is because of Martin Necas. Necas can very well be the Canes first line center of the future and he had great chemistry with Zadina in the world juniors.
    3. Canadiens. Andrei Svechnikov.
I believe Svechnikov will fall down to the Habs and Bergevin will subsequently trade Pacioretty. Possibly for a top six center or a first round draft pick.
    4. Senators. Brady Tkachuk
Debatable. Tkachuk might be cheaper in the future and Melnyk seems to be an owner who wants to run this team on a budget (I understand that Sens fans hate him and that is justifiable).
    5. Coyotes. Adam Boqvist
Perfect for the Coyotes if they can get him. Right-handed defenseman who could learn a lot playing alongside Ekman-Larsson. For the Coyotes sake I hope they have another bad season next year so they can grab Jack Hughes next year. I think the Coyotes deserve some success.
    6. Red Wings. Quinton Hughes
The Wings would be happy to get a Michigan guy on their team.
    7. Canucks. Noah Dobson
    Canucks need help on defense
    8. Blackhawks. Joe Veleno
Blackhawks start to build for the future with a center.
    9. Rangers. Jesperi Kotkaniemi
The Rangers add another center to their future core.
    10. Oilers. Oliver Wahlstrom
Wahlstrom fall in the draft to an Oilers team happy to draft someone with his speed as they need speed on the wing. They also trade the Nuge. If I were Chiarelli I would try to trade him for Nick Suzuki who could be a good third line center for them. Also buy out at least one of those awful contracts if you can't get rid of those contracts via trade. You know which contracts I mean.
    11. Islanders. Ty Smith
    The Islanders need defense
    12. Islanders. Vitali Kravtsov
Perhaps a good wingman to Barzal.
    13. Stars. Barrett Hayton
    The Stars add another center.
    14. Philadelphia. Joel Farabee
Good winger to add to your team.
    15. Panthers. Bode Wilde
The Panthers could use some help on defense.
    16. Avalanche. Grigori Denisenko.
Good winger to add to your team.
    17. Devils. Rasmus Kupari.
The Devils add a possible second line center to their team.
    18. Blue Jackets. Serron Noel
His stats doesn't look too impressive when I look at them but they seem to get better each year. Maybe the Blue Jackets will get a steal if they grab him.
    19. Flyers. Ryan Mcleod.
The Flyers add a center to their core.
    20. Kings. Isac Lundeström.
Would be a smart pick for the Kings.
    21. Sharks. Ryan Merkley.
The Sharks build there future defense core.
    22. Senators. Rasmus Sandin.
The Sens build a future defense core. Perhaps a core that is not so dependant on Erik Karlsson
    23. Ducks. Jared McIsaac.
The Ducks will need to draft defensemen.
    24. Wild. Jett Woo.
The Wild could also use a defenseman.
    25. Maple Leafs. Akil Thomas.
A possible third line center for the future?
    26. Rangers. Bokk.
The Rangers could get a steal if they can grab this winger.
    27. Blackhawks. Nils Lundkvist.
A rising defenseman in the draft.
    28. Red Wings. Jacob Olofsson.
A good future center the Wings can wait for.
    29. Rangers. Mattias Samuelsson.
The Rangers add defense to their core.
    30. Capitals. Benoit-Olivier Groulx.
A center the Caps can add to their core.
    31. Blues. K'Andre Miller
The Blues add a defenseman to their core.

So I need to do some corrections

    1. Sabres. Rasmus Dahlin
    Need no motivation.
    2. Hurricanes. Filip Zadina

    6. Red Wings. Quinton Hughes
The Wings would be happy to get a Michigan guy on their team.
    7. Canucks. Even Bouchard
    Canucks need help on defense

    18. Blue Jackets. Serron Noel
His stats doesn't look too impressive when I look at them but they seem to get better each year. Maybe the Blue Jackets will get a steal if they grab him.
    19. Flyers. Grigori Denisenko.
The Flyers have not been afraid of drafting russians.
    20. Kings. Isac Lundeström.
Would be a smart pick for the Kings. Perhaps a good center to Adrian Kempe in the future.
    21. Sharks. Ryan Merkley.
The Sharks build there future defense core.
    22. Senators. Rasmus Sandin.
The Sens build a future defense core. Perhaps a core that is not so dependant on Erik Karlsson

    29. Rangers. Serron Noel.
The stats don't look too impressive but seem to get better.
    30. Capitals. Mattias Samuelsson.
A defenseman the Caps can add to their core.
    31. Blues. K'Andre Miller
The Blues add a defenseman to their core.

So now my mock draft has been reworked. A few controversial choices but sometimes the teams are reaching (like Boston drafting Senyshyn instead of Barzal).
