If Europe gets a win against the Czech then they have a great chance at qualifying for the semis. How crazy would that be?

Europe all but clinches with the win. They have the head-to-head against America. The one way they wouldn't clinch is if Canada loses to America and Canada and America beat Europe and Czech Republic. That's a 3-way tie where head-to-head doesn't help so it goes to the next tie breaker.

A canada win and a Europe win eliminated America and Czech Republic. Game 3 would just be for seeding. Even a Canada win and a Europe loss hurts America. They no longer control their own destiny.

Great win by Team North America, they will have a good tournament. Sweden-Russia was a close game, Sweden played well and deserved to win.

Canada embarrassed Czech Republic, NA won not surprisingly, Russia was close but USA losing was a shock.

Wow that NA-Finland game was entertaining. Those kids on North America are so fast they weren't even playing defense just forechecking in their own zone to feed their offense. I cant wait for their next game.

Europe wins in OT. Canada is a W away from ending america's World Cup run.
In a tournament designed to have a Canada-America, America might not make it past the group stage :D

Only way for USA to qualify is to win against both Canada and the Czechs now I think. So long as Europe doesn't also win against Canada.

If USA beats Canada and the Czechs, and Canada beats Europe than its a 3-way tie for first place and its also a tie for the head-to-head records so it goes to the second tiebreaker (I don't know what that is). If Europe beats Canada and America beats Canada and the Czechs then America and Europe are in. A Canada win tonight would end it though and guarantee that Canada and Europe makes it in. And then the winner of Canada vs Europe is the first seed and the loser is the second
